St. Patrick School recognizes that a “one-size-fits-all” approach is not the way to maximize learning for every student. Flexible grouping within the classroom for language arts, reading, and mathematics allows teaching to be more directed and focused.

This differentiated instruction, or small group learning, recognizes that students learn best in different ways. It also propels students to learn at the pace best suited for their individual needs, whether they need extra time to grasp concepts or are ready to move more rapidly through material. No one is held back and no one is left behind!

The result is the highest quality learning environment for each child and greater student success. We believe our small group learing instills confidence in our students and is a large factor in student achievement.
