   I give It Ain't So Awful Falafel by Firoozeh Dumas 5 out of 5 stars. It is funny, a little sad but touching. Zomorod and her parents move to America from Iran in the late 1970s; Zomorod wants to fit in as an American. Being foreign isn't easy but things get even harder when Iran undergoes a revolution and takes Americans as hostages. Zomord's family is in turmoil and many Americans are unkind. How will Zomorod cope as an Iranian living in American during this time? Will she find a way to fit in?
