I teach K-8 physical education and health at St. Patrick. I have been teaching at the best school in the Cedar Valley since 1998. My wife and I live in Hudson. We have five children and one grandson. I am a member of AAPHERD which is the American Association for Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in December of 1998 with a degree in education with a coaching emphasis. I have been teaching at St. Patrick School since the fall of 1999. I enjoy my job because of the faculty and parent involvement in the students’ education. In class, we incorporate the current gospel value, talking about sportsmanship and fair play. We talk about helping each other and encouraging fellow classmates. Teamwork and reducing conflict among teammates and opponents is also a way we incorporate the gospel value into our everyday lives.
